Independence Day is a holiday that celebrates the anniversary
of a country’s independence from another country that ruled in the past. June
12 was the day when Philippines raised our flag and officially declared as independent
country.
Philippines is a country colonized by Spaniards until the
Philippines’ heroes fight back for the freedom of our country. Where we
celebrate independence day for the respect for the country independency. We
celebrate Independence day by considered as a non-working days and we display flaglets
outside our homes and classroom as what we traditionally do.
Independence day plays an important role in our country to
remember our freedom and independency.
